For starters, the environment at Grandmaster Al Garza’s Martial Arts schools feel like family.  Al Garza’s Premier Martial Arts is a Christian based Martial Arts school that teaches more than just fighting skills.  The programs here are intended to develop the whole person through skills, leadership, character, and spiritual training and development.   My experiences here have been nothing but amazing.  When coming here, I can always expect to see both kids and adults training hard, yet having fun with smiles on their faces.  Without fail, if there was ever a day when either my kids or I were having a bad day or just didn’t feel like training, but came anyway, we always left happy with big smiles on our faces.

This is truely a family environment that is welcoming of everyone.  We have attended multiple martial arts schools in the area and spoken with many others about their experiences at various schools, and without question, this school is the best.  The quality of training education is top notch, there are a variety of programs for everyone, the environment is welcoming and friendly, and at the same time you are getting a good workout, you are having fun.  If you are considering martial arts training for you or a child, looking for a gym, or just want to have fun while working out, you can’t go wrong here.

A little about the owner Grandmaster Garza:
Al Graza is the current Grandmaster of Premier Martial Arts International and is the owner of three locations in Houston TX.  Grandmaster Garza lives by the philosophy that “the goals you set are the goals you get”. In over four decades of training in the Martial Arts, he has had numerous accomplishments and has set and reached many personal goals including reaching the rank of Grandmaster which he was awarded in 2012.

He is belted in multiple styles, including Tae Kwon Do, Modern Arnis, Krav Maga, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has earned numerous self-defense and fitness certifications throughout the years and has been inducted into several Martial Arts Halls of Fames. More important than all his personal goals and achievements, in 42 years of teaching, Grandmaster Garza has inspired and led over 800 students in our community, ranging in age from 7 to 60, to set and reach their own goals of becoming black belts. In Grandmaster Garza’s words, he is “building a better community one black belt at a time”.
